The SP70 Sutphen Platform, composed of aluminum alloy for easy maintenance and heat protection, consists of many various parts within the engine.
The platform is made of 750 pounds of tip load, 70 feet of vertical reach and can hold 500 pounds of flowing water. The fully functional aerial ladder towards the front of the apparatus provides more reach and positioning options, compared to previous rear mounted aerials. The bucket provides a quick and easy passageway for those putting on gear or carrying heavy equipment and efficient evacuation up to seven stories. |
